Feather is a Registered Clinical Herbalist in Western Herbalism who integrates herbal remedies, holistic nutrition, flower essences and stress reduction guidance. She has been a herbalist for over 40 years. As an herbalist with two beautiful grown daughters of her own, she has naturally specialized in botanicals for both women’s and children’s health. She studied under herbal teachers such as Michael Moore, learned the ways of healing through a Native American herbalist in the North Dakotas while traveling in a van with her first child and has gone on to change the name of a well-known herb to respect the rights of Native American Women. Presently she is a Botanical Field Guide for the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. As well, Feather was twice past president for the American Herbalists Guild and is currently on the Admissions Review Advisory Committee. Feather has an ongoing 2 year Herbal Apprenticeship Program in Sedona AZ. She is inspired by the red rocks and energy centers on the land in her Sedona home. A desert woman at heart, she spends many hours on the trails. She is a wild wolf woman who knows her plants and loves to share the plant wisdom she has gathered over the years.
