Maya Abdominal Massage is an ancient, non-invasive, external massage technique which guides internal abdominal organs into their proper position for optimum health and well-being. Maya massage improves organ function by releasing physical and emotional congestion from the abdomen. Some common symptoms relieved by this treatment are painful or irregular menses, blood clots, lack of menstruation, headaches or dizziness with menses, varicose veins, tired legs, numb feet, lower back ache, infertility, endometriosis/endometritis, uterine polyps, painful intercourse, uterine fibroids, PMS, uterine infections, frequent urination and urinary tract infections, ovarian cysts, vaginitis, hormonal imbalances, difficult pregnancy and birth, premature births, and difficult menopause.
Astrid Grove is a community midwife, a wise woman herbalist, and a practitioner of Maya Abdominal Massage. Her passion lies in creating sacred space for women to honor and explore life cycles. She travels extensively sharing the women's mysteries teachings and can be contacted at theredtemple@gmail.com to set up a workshop in your home community.
