The New Windsor-Cornwall Rotary Club hosts Susun Weed
The New Windsor-Cornwall Rotary Club will host a benefit luncheon lecture with local herbalist and author Susun S. Weed, one of America's best-known authorities on herbal medicine and natural approaches to health. Expert herbalists and well-known women's health physicians such as Susan Love, MD, Christiane Northrup, MD, Rosemary Gladstar, and David Hoffman recommend her books. Susun will discuss the safe and effective use of herbal medicine with plenty of time for questions and answers.
The lecture will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, April 11 at the Steak and Stein located at 935 Union Avenue (Route 300) in Newburgh, NY. Tickets are $50 and include lunch- a vegetarian option is available.

This benefit will help to support the various local and international programs sponsored by the New Windsor-Cornwall Club including literacy programs with local schools, providing food for local families, international water supply projects in remote villages in Africa, eradication of Polio world-wide, and direct support and provisions for the victims of recent natural disasters in Haiti and Chile.

Founded twenty years ago by internationally acclaimed author and herbalist Susun Weed, the Wise Woman Center exists with the purpose of offering a safe space for women to rediscover the Wise Woman Way.
