Sensuous Aromatic Herbs
Let your nose lead the way into the magic of scented herbs at this autumn event. We will explore the sensuous world of aromatic plants including rosemary, lavender, lemon balm, catnip, lemon verbena, thyme, and sage. You will learn how to use them for beauty, food, medicine, and protection.
This day-long workshop is taught by Susun Weed at the Wise Woman Center in Woodstock, NY, on September 18, 2010. Class is from 10 am to 5pm; you will be given directions once you register. Each one-day workshop with Susun Weed at the Wise Woman Center includes talking stick ceremony, a weed walk, wild-food lunch, and instruction. The cost is $75.
Weather permitting the class leaves promptly at 10:15 a.m. for a talking stick ceremony and a weed walk in the woods with the goats. You will have lots of time to learn to identify and talk about plants and ask questions. When the goats take a break, you will prepare and enjoy a wild food lunch. Class size is small to allow personal attention. Class held indoors in case of rain.
